1. Proof of Income
Lenders need to verify your income to ensure you can repay the loan. This includes:
Your two most recent pay stubs
W-2s or 1099s from the last two years
Tax returns (especially if you're self-employed)
Additional income (alimony, side business, rental income)
2. Employment Verification
We'll confirm you’re employed (or self-employed) and that your income is stable. You may need:
Employer contact info
Proof of business ownership if self-employed
Profit & loss statements
3. Credit History & Score
Most lenders require a credit score of at least 620, but higher scores can get better rates.
